Sustainable Cooking for Busy Families

Welcome to A Seasoned Kitchen - I'm so glad you're here.
I'm Erin, the heart behind ASK. I'm a wife, mom, homemaker, and passionate Cottage Baker who believes the kitchen is more than just a place to prepare meals - It's where memories are made, traditions are passed down, and people gather around the table. My love for baking started when I learned about making mud pies with my grandma. Then everyday after school, I'd rush home to watch the popular cooking shows on PBS. I was completely captivated by the magic happening in those television kitchens! Over time, what started as a simple love for feeding my family as a teenager grew into a passion for creating intentional from-scratch foods made with quality ingredients for other families tables.
Teenager to Young Adult...
My secret weapon was my Grandma Opal, who lived all the way in Texas while I was in Florida. I'd call her whenever I got stuck, and she'd patiently walk me through techniques over the phone, sharing her wisdom and family recipes that had been passed down for generations. Those phone calls taught me that cooking is so much more than following recipes – it's about love, tradition, and bringing people together.
Along the way, I've dedicated myself to studying and embracing healthy, clean cooking-discovering how fresh, wholesome ingredients can transform not only the way we eat but the way we live. In today's world where clean eating matters more than ever, I find so much joy in sharing what I've learned by providing baked goods for your table that are both nourishing and delicious.

About A Seasoned Kitchen
At ASK, baking is rooted in a slower, farmhouse-inspired way of life. I love the process of freshly milled grains, long-fermented sourdough, seasonal flavors, and recipes that bring warmth and comfort to the table. Whether it's artisan bread, celebration desserts, muffins, cookies, or gluten-free baked goods, every item is made with care and attention to ingredients.
You'll often find organic ingredients, freshly milled grains, real grass fed butter, unrefined sweeteners, seasonal produce, and thoughtfully sourced pantry staples wove thoughout my kitchen. While no kitchen is perfect, my goal is always to create the baked goods with cleaner, intentional ingredients while still delivering the comfort flavors everyone loves.
More than anything, Thank you for supporting my small cottage bakery and allowing me to be a small part of your families table.
